December 21, 2024 – In celebration of Hue’s milestone designation as a centrally governed city, nearly 150 golfers gathered to compete in The Golden Masters, the first-ever golf tournament held at Golden Sands Golf Resort. Located in Vinh Thanh and Vinh Xuan (Phu Vang District, Thua Thien Hue Province), the course was designed by Nicklaus Design, the world’s leading golf course architecture firm founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus, also known as “The Golden Bear.”

On September 28, Golden Sands Golf Resort, located in Vinh Xuan and Vinh Thanh Communes, Phu Vang District, Thua Thien Hue, officially opened its doors, welcoming golf lovers to experience the elegance and challenge of a sport with a 600-year global legacy.

Vietnamese private conglomerate BRG Group is working to perfect the Legend Valley Country Club complex, the next masterpiece of legendary golf course designer Jack Nicklaus in Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province, around 50km from Hanoi.
